Due to a massive and exciting growth period, Real Wrap are currently looking for a Materials Handler to join our site in Avonmouth!

The Real Wrap Co is a fast-paced food-to-go manufacturer. We have been placed on the fast-track top 100 companies for the past 3 years for growth, hitting a run rate of £28M turnover. We plan to grow to £40M in the next 3 years across our sites in Avonmouth, and Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

salary:

£28,000 per annum

Working hours:

Core hours are Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700 or 0900 - 1800

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Stock control of all packaging and ingredient items on site, in off-site storage & at Supplier

  • Issue orders to Suppliers and make sure inbound materials are scheduled to meet production demand

  • Ensure we maintain the correct inventory levels for all items - updating systems daily ensuring the integrity of information used to place orders of raw materials and packaging with suppliers.

  • Taking appropriate actions as required (order increase/decrease, close communication with suppliers and production/planning team, forecast maintenance, etc.)

  • Ensure production schedules/labour plans are deliverable from Material stock holding perspective.

  • Assist in developing company ERP system.

  • Help maintain positive supplier relations in line with company values and beliefs.

  • Daily review of goods destroyed and stock at risk reports to minimize waste

  • Identification and resolution of day-to-day Issues

  • Ensure Production, procurement and scheduling plans are aligned to reflect changes as advised

  • Ensure the appropriate control and efficient utilisation of raw materials and packaging

  • Monitor & maintain Key Performance Indicators set by your Manager, and report upon as needed.

  • Attend Daily/Weekly meetings and advise on materials/stock situation as required

  • You will also be expected to provide support for other areas of the business

These will include but not limited to:

Ideal candidate:

  • Planning & stock Control experience gained within food manufacturing gained from within FMCG

  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and influential skills

  • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise and proactively manage multiple tasks whilst able to plan ahead

Experience preferred, but ideally you will be possess the following;
