We are recruiting for an experienced part time Credit Controller to work at our site in Avonmouth, reporting to the Finance Manager.

Schedule: monday - Friday 20hrs p/w

Job Description

Ensure customers are chased daily for overdue invoices.
Deal with any customer queries preventing payment of invoices. This will involve working with the Customer Services department who will have entered the orders on our sales system.
Resolve issues surrounding invoices which require customer purchase orders before they can be paid.
Any other finance duties and administration duties as required.

The successful candidate will:

Have at least 1 year’s experience working in a finance department.
Working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts (desirable, not essential).
Basic Excel skills.
Have excellent attention to detail, be able to work to deadlines and prioritise.
Be highly organised with the ability to cope with a range of competing responsibilities and tasks whilst remaining in control.
Have excellent communication skills, both via telephone and email.
Be a team player with a positive attitude.

Days and hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week but specific days and hours are negotiable and to be discussed in conjunction with the candidate's requirements.
